Ingredients
- 1-pound fresh, skinless salmon
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 egg white
- 4 whole wheat buns
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- Toppings (optional): Lettuce, tomato, onion, feta
Directions
- Chop the salmon into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the salmon with dill, horseradish, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and egg white.
- Shape the mixture into four even patties.
- Heat grill or pan to medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4 minutes per side, until firm and cooked through.
- Spread sour cream on the buns, then layer with avocado slices.
- Place the salmon patties on a bun, add toppings to taste, and enjoy!
