Mouth-Healthy Recipe: Gingerbread Candied Nuts

Give your snack game a holiday twist! These gingerbread candied nuts are lightly sweetened and full of festive spice, perfect for snacking or topping your salads. They’re packed with healthy fats and fiber, helping to keep you satisfied and energized through holiday activities.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine coconut oil, maple syrup, and spices.
  3. Toss nuts in the mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Spread nuts on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway, until toasted. Cool completely before serving.
