Mouth-Healthy Recipe: Low-Sugar Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combine cranberries, orange juice, and maple syrup in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer 10–12 minutes, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in orange zest and cinnamon.
  5. Let cool before serving.
