Delta Dental of Arizona is proud to have welcomed Rachel Day and Craig Christian to the sales team within the last six months. Rachel serves as an implementation specialist and Craig as a sales executive.
Rachel Day, new to the dental insurance industry, is now the Implementation Specialist at Delta Dental. Prior to working for Delta Dental, Rachel was a marketing consultant for an online advertising company in Scottsdale. In the spring of 2011, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing communication with a minor in business administration. In addition to implementing marketing strategies, she has previous experience implementing online training solutions for Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. Rachel relocated to Phoenix from the Midwest in 2013, and she has been enjoying the weather and building new business relationships throughout the Valley. She is looking forward to gaining industry knowledge and helping create a seamless implementation process for new Delta Dental business.
Craig S. Christian recently joined the Delta Dental of Arizona team as a sales executive. He works closely with large employer groups, with an emphasis on municipality and school district trusts as well as local and national accounts. Prior to Delta Dental, Craig worked as a senior benefits specialist for a brokerage office in Scottsdale. Craig also worked for The Principal Life Insurance Company (Principal Dental Services) and provided over 12 years of excellent managed dental care account supervision to his clients. His experience also includes managing two private dental practices and 18 years of customer service in the luxury hospitality industry. Craig maintains his Accident/Health Producer and Life Producer insurance licenses from the Arizona Department of Insurance and holds the RHU (Registered Health Underwriters) and the REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) designations. He attended Northwestern University in Chicago and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
